About the Artist

Welcome to Prestige Farms! I'm D'Arry Jone Frank, I'm an artist and dog breeder, and I live in rural Illinois. In addition to 16 or so Jack Russells, I have a thoroughbred/Quarter Horse named "The Big Red Horse" (he's 17.2) who is my huntseat pleasure riding horse. I also have a Haflinger gelding named Harry Houdini-whose only real talent is escaping.

I've been involved with model horses for as long as I can remember. Certainly long before I was able to have real horses! It may be hard to imagine, but I can remember when a "live model horse show" was just something that someone had in their backyard-unless it rained- then we would all move into the garage! And there would only be maybe one a year, things have sure changed!

I was one of the pioneers of re-making Breyer horses and the first one to take body parts off of one mold to put on another, this was back in the mid-seventies. Although I do still occasionally customized Breyer or Peter Stone horses, I am much more involved in the limited edition resins. Hopefully you will find something in this site that interests you!
